Manager Dave Smith has chosen James Petronzio as January’s player of the month. The defender was good in all three of Brigg Town’s games in January.
Although the 3-0 defeat to Wakefield AFC was disappointing, Petronzio played fairly well. The 2-0 loss at Staveley Miners Welfare wasn’t great either, but he was man-of-the-match.
The month ended with a convincing 2-0 win at Horbury Town. Another solid display earned Petronzio the monthly award.
