Brigg Town FC CIC First Team 2019/20 Season

You may be familiar with your town’s football club, it’s been here for 155 years after all!

However, you may not realise that in 2017 we became a Community Interest Company.

The aim of the club is to support the sustainable development of football in and around Brigg and to ensure a good standard of football is played at the club.

Since we’re a CIC, any profit we make is reinvested in the club, which means the teams and the club will grow more effectively and we are a fully transparent organisation.

Our players are selected for their footballing ability as much as their commitment to the Club’s values.

We bonded well as a team in 2018-19 and are looking ahead to the next season with excitement and high expectations. Every single one of our players is here because they love football and they love the Club.

For the first time, we are entering a reserve team into the Lincolnshire Football League. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to building strength in depth at the Club.

We also run a number of junior age group sides, from U7s through to U18s, which provide a successful introduction and development platform for youth football in the town.

Proud members of the Lincolnshire Football League

We are in the Premier Division of the Lincolnshire Football League, which was formed in 1948.

As part of our refurbishment since becoming a Community Interest Club, we have made considerable improvements to The EC Surfacing Stadium (formerly The Hawthorns), which has been our home turf since 1959. Our facilities include…

  • FREE function room
  • Bar & dining area
  • Car parking

The EC Surfacing Stadium truly puts the Club at the heart of the town’s community, with everyone welcome to enjoy a game, a drink and a bite to eat.

From birthdays to christenings, live music nights and football parties, our FREE function room is the perfect space for you to celebrate with fantastic people, wonderful music and delicious food and drink!
