
They settled down quickly to play some neat football and won an early corner kick but this was cleared. Following this, Scott Phillips flicked a shot just wide of the goal and Alfie Usher was unlucky to see his effort hit the upright post.
The early pressure continued but the first goal wasn’t scored until after half an hour of play. Dayle Hutson, excellent throughout, netted the first and within another minute Scott Phillips grabbed a second.
The Worsbrough defence managed to clear another shot off the goal line but Fraser Papprill headed home from Alfie Usher’s corner kick two minutes before the half-time whistle to put the Brigg team in a commanding position.




Dayle Hutson scored his second goal fifteen minutes into the second half to consolidate the lead and substitutions were then made.
Kevan Kahoussi soon made an immediate impact and cut in from the left wing to strike a shot just wide. Then he was denied by the home team goalkeeper who made a good save.
Worsbrough pushed to get something from the game and their endeavour was rewarded with a goal scored by Michael Jepps in the last minute, so denying the Brigg team the opportunity of a first clean sheet in the current season.
