Campion took an early lead after winning the ball in midfield and creating an opening for Aidan Day to steer it into the back of the net.
Afterwards the hosts looked dangerous from Karl Fitzgerald’s long throws into the danger zone, but Chaz Fisher and Fin O’Sullivan were solid in the heart of defence.
Campion continued to push forward and looked sharp on the counterattacks with Kieran Suddards and Robbie Graham coming close.
Brigg began to get more possession and were awarded an indirect free kick for a pass back to goalkeeper Brad Emmerson. It was played to Josh Batty whose first effort struck an opponent before he fired the rebound wide.
Brigg then had their best spell of the game equalizing with a penalty after Batty was brought down in the area. Martin Pembleton blasted his spot kick past Emmerson to send the teams in level at the break.

Fitzgerald’s long throws continued to be a threat in the second half, but Brigg’s defence kept dealing with them.
The Zebras lost Dayle Hutson for a 10-minute spell in the sin bin and after returning he picked up a knock.
In the 58th minute, Brigg took the lead when Stephen McCarron was in the right place to force the ball over the line from a right-wing corner.
Campion responded with Aidan Kirby shooting narrowly off target.
Minutes later Hutson and McCarron combined well before the latter struck a drive wide of the goal.
Hutson continued to cause the home team problems until he was injured again and forced to withdraw.
Late on Pembleton curled a free kick inches wide after Conner Harman was fouled just outside the box.
The game went into 8 minutes of added time, but the Zebras hung on to take all three points.
This was a fantastic result and Brigg’s win of the season so far!
