The first half was scrappy and uneventful apart from when James Petronzio saw red just before the half hour mark.
Ollerton’s Joe Lumley hit the post following a swift counterattack. The rebound was fired goalwards by Alfie Dodsworth and struck Petronzio’s arm on the goal line.
Petronzio was dismissed and the resulting penalty was slotted away by Dodsworth.
Brigg Town were a goal down at half time with a numerical disadvantage. Even so, their second half performance was much better with entertaining football that led to goals.

The Zebras began the second half brightly with Finley O’Sullivan and Martin Pembleton forcing Owen Evans into saves.
The first equalizer came when Evans palmed Alfie Usher’s cross into the path of Fraser Papprill, whose first time shot nestled in the back of the net.
The hosts though struck again on the counter soon afterwards, Adam Scott’s effort finding the top right corner.
A couple of minutes later Kevan Kahoussi latched onto Stephen McCarron’s ball over the top before firing in from close range.
The flurry of goals continued with Dodsworth scoring another spot kick after Ollie Grady went down under the challenge of McCarron.
Towards the end Kahoussi and Josh Batty were denied by Evans at full stretch as Brigg pressed for a late leveller.
In the last minute of stoppage time a point was rescued through Batty, who headed home Finley O’Sullivan’s inviting cross.
Brigg had shown real character to keep fighting back whilst a man short. Avoiding defeat in those circumstances was commendable.
The Zebras are now unbeaten in seven matches.
